I honestly think that Aatrox's Justicar skin doesn't fit him at all. I mean the champions whole basis is drawing blood from his enemies and using self inflicted damage to make himself stronger. I think something like a Soul Reaver skin or a Harbringer skin would fit him much better. Even in his lore, it is said that he inspires "An unruly bloodlust" thus is my reasoning behind those skins. What do you all think?
I think that Aatrox's Justicar skin is similar in concept to Syndra's: the skin works because it is the opposite of what the character is. The brighter color palette and the angelic implications are supposed to be a sort of antithesis that fits the character by showing an alternate aspect of them. It's almost like a "what could they have been" skin to me. That being said, I would like to see another skin for Aatrox sometime soon, he's one of my favorite champions as far as design and lore.
I believe that Justicar Aatrox is meant to represent how he's thought of by the people he fights alongside. A sort of rose colored glasses view of his character. You don't generally see people remembering their own military leaders as bloodthirsty or unruly, after all.
Big fan of Aatrox, though, so I'd definitely by thrilled to see more skins.
