[Champion Concept] Drael, The Beast Tamer

There is little known about Drael; almost everything is rumor, legend, or speculation. The first sighting of Drael was when he was a young boy. He was seen with a dozen animals seeming to follow him through the Reaper Jungle, a part of Runeterra full of deadly animals and plants mutated from magical residue from the war. No man or woman but Nidalee has ever survived the cursed land - no one but this child. From that point, the boy was seen many times over the years, always with more animals, always with deadlier animals, and always watching the outside world; not maliciously or longingly, but seemingly strategically. Finally, when he was a young man, he emerged from the jungle with a band of some of the most dangerous creatures in the world. He himself sat upon a Goliath Wolf, the largest wolf in the known world, holding a whip he crafted from the hide of a Mountain Drake. The mysterious man, who had been seen as more myth than reality, cleared the path for his massive followers with his deadly whip, cutting through trees as easily as a knife would pass through bread. When he reached the people gathered to see this awe inspiring sight, he cracked his whip a single time with a sound like thunder and brought his companions to a halt. With his great beasts in tow, he traveled straight to Noxus and demanded to be part of their military. Upon seeing his ease of control over the beasts, Swain readily agreed. In every battle fought, Drael emerged victorious. He and his beasts cut down scores of enemies effortlessly, and he and his army of some of the deadliest creatures known to man quickly became legends to be feared. Drael traveled the world, taming every beast he found, seeking deadlier creatures to best. At last, fearing he would soon reach the end of his rope, he left the Noxian military to join the League of Legends.

I really like the idea of an ADC-type champion that uses a whip. It's something that only Thresh has right now and non-projectile ranged attacks are just pretty cool.

That said, I do have some comments. I'm not really interested in the lore, stats or damage numbers since things like that are always subject to change.

The passive: pretty cool. Fits well with the whip. Might cause issues similar to Draven's passive but the application seems less ubiquitous so maybe not.

The Q: This seems pretty neat. The delay seems to give it the same sort of function as Piltover Peacemaker or Buckshot which works well in an ADC set-up.

The W: This needs a lot more explanation. When do these animals come out? How does the mount aspect work when he toggles quickly? How fast do they come in to play?

The E: Functionally solid, although maybe a little UP (the PBAoE knockback tested on Cleanse was very underwhelming for ADCs). How would it appear, though? Hard to imagine a guy with a whip knocking multiple people away.

The R: Kinda apathetic about this. TBH it reminds me a lot of Draven's ultimate along with a lot of other parts that seem to be functionally similar to him.

Overall: I think you have some really strong thematic elements but the multiple beasts might be very clunky in play and don't really translate well to a core theme of taming. There's a lot of hype around a champion with a static companion, maybe try working the kit around that? As in, Drael would have the Goliath Wolf (just picked the first one there, could be whatever) constantly (maybe give it like an "aatrox passive" when it dies to it's disabled for X seconds as it regenerates health?) and have the abilities work about augmenting him and the tamed beast at the same time (fight/flight toggle would be issuing attack and retreat commands etc, the ultimate resurrecting the beast and sending it on a linear rampage or something). I think it would make it more clear what he does without the dicey question of how the tamed beasts are coming in and out of the battlefield sans magic.

Also! Interaction with Rammus, Nidalee and Wukong are kind of a must, y'know?

his q kinda sounds a bit op, just a bit and good job with the lore and also i'd like to see him fighting rengar with drael trying to tam rengar because his a kitty, but rengar is more then beast he is the pridstalker
