How far along is the Zyra rework Morello brought up months ago? Shortly before she was nerfed.

A while ago I made a thread pleading for Riot not to gut AP mid Zyra just because she was OP as a Support......they nerfed AP mid Zyra anyways and people continue to support with her.

Anyways, the main point is Morello went in and mentioned of plans to make Zyra more plant focused rather than the spells themselves. There were hints to make Zyra much more focused on relying on her plants. Yet that was months ago. And the nerfs she received pretty much went AWAY from that direction with the heavy nerf her W received.

Is something like that still in the woodworks or is it forgotten?

The primary thing I'd like to do to Zyra is to make her MORE about plants, and less burst mage. I don't entirely know how this will effect which lane, but I do understand the sentiment to the bottom lane vs mid lane approach. This has been why we've been conservative so far (the missile speed change was just something we should have released with).

The basic idea is that, Zyra players and enemies focus far too much attention on just her spells and not her plants who simply die a second after they come out due to collateral AoE, etc.

On a side note, I find it funny that they released another AP mid champion...who is clearly better as a Support than he is at being an AP mid.
