Apparently it is going to be a male champion. There was a tweet from a Riot developer saying that he's excited to be working on the next champion and that he thinks the community will "really enjoy him".

It's a start, I'll give you that. I hope it's the Horus inspired desert/Shurima mage that's been floating around the EU Forums for awhile now.

I tend to not get too excited about the new champions for some reason, not really sure why. Like, I'm glad we get new ones and it's cool to see the new kit, artwork, etc, but I just never seem to get really hyped about them. Only one that I was legitimately excited for was Aatrox.

True. I got really excited for Vel'Koz after his
'First Contact'
video. The "AS DO I" line hits like rock. Lissandra intrigued me because of the amount of story and lore that came with her. Other than that, it's been fairly meh for me too.

Same here, except I didn't like Vel'koz's looks.

They are doing cool promos for their champs nowadays, I really like this effort.

I thought we had a hint about role, but I can't remember anything more specific than that. :\ Maybe I'm only remembering when they said Braum was support.

yes you are having braum in mind

and there were some rumors about the next patch being a shurima desert patch,and we know the next champ is being designed by gypsylord (jinx and vi)
