Sona
Please tell me these changes to Sona released by surrender at 20 (http://www.surrenderat20.net/p/current-pbe-balance-changes.html) are some sort of sick and twisted joke.
And, if by some happenstance they are not (God help us all) would someone be as so kind to explain to me a few things:
-
Why Sona? She is in, arguably, one of the most balanced states that any AP support has seen since the beginning of LCS. While she might not see a lot of competitive play, she still has her purpose in some team comps. And that is a lot to be said when you take a look at some other alternatives.
-
Why gut her identity? She plays songs, makes auras, and occasionally stuns people. Why, why why why why? Why?
-
In what way is her rework more urgent than say Urgot or Sion?
-
Did you learn nothing from the Skarner rework? No one plays him. No one likes the rework. Everyone is still asking, on a regular basis I might add, for Riot to bring back pre-rework Skarner.
I'm done. I'm just done with this company. A sub-par item pool that hasn't had any significant additions, with everyone building the same items over and over again.
Sion still hasn't been reworked. They still cater to Lee Sin and Kayle because #BigPlays. Urgot still hasn't had a rework.
And you choose Sona. Sona. The most balanced champion in the game currently.
I just.....why?
,
, and
going unplayed because they can't survive the current meta in the average player's hands, why are you even looking at Sona. Fix her textures and then stop. If you want an aura champ who sits deep in team fights and has dramatic direct effect, here's a thought: BUILD A NEW CHAMP THAT DOES THAT. Is that not basically the same thing as REWORKING an existing champ? It's not like you have a limit on how many champs you can spin out. It gives you more money anyway because people will buy the intro bundle for a new champ without thought. Why do you need to delete a champ to make a similar champ? Okay. Rage completed.
