Fizz price reduction was kind of a dirty move

I just noticed that Fizz was the champion affected by the automatic 6300 to 4800 IP price reduction. However, I bought him at full price outside the rebate window because I have a thing for void champions and wanted the new skin. I'm not asking for any sort of refund, but I think it would have been better to take this into account. As it is, it feels as though the different parts of Riot aren't communicating with each other very well.
