If I own a champ that's free during the week shouldn't i get priority?

Alright so when a champion is released for free during the week, everyone decides to try them out. Some of us who own and main these champions are basicly told by the free users "yha screw you i got him 1st, doesn't matter if you bought him". Am I the only one who has a problem with this?

Let me ask you something. How did you decide to buy those champions that you main? Did you just look at their kits or did you try them out in game first? If you own and main them, you've played them plenty. Is it so wrong for someone to try out a new champion?

It's just one week. Let the people who want to learn or try out the champ have a crack at it.

I don't have a problem with it. The champion is not solely yours to use, and that doesn't bother me. I wouldn't like it if I wanted to try someone and someone who owned him was going "I own him, you don't, play someone else."

You get people who instant lock a champ that you main and they know nothing about. How is that not a problem? Personally if you wanna get the chance to play a champ that's free go play draft or custom.
