Can't gift friends?
Title. For the past 5 days it's said an error has occurred every time I try and send a gift.

Is it just one particular person, or you can't gift anyone? Are they currently banned? If you continue to have issues and know you fall within the gifting requirements, submit a Support Ticket. If it's just a client side bug you might try repairing your client.
