I bought Thresh a few days ago, but in every game I've played with him with any item with Spoils of War, the passive's execution damage doesn't take effect. It looks like the charge only goes off if I kill a minion with my own damage. I hit a mage minion 5 times while I was next to my adc and it didn't die. Is this real or am I just bad at reading?
The execute damage only procs with melee basic attacks, and Thresh is Ranged so cannot proc it.
The Spoils of War gold/heal share still procs on minion kill no matter how you do it though, so Thresh can still use it by last hitting any other way. His E-Flay builds up damage on his basic attack, so use that to more easily last hit.
Thresh is a special case. He is a ranged melee. He doesn't proc the execute.
