Is The Nexus Turret Sound Bug Ever Getting Fixed?

It's been around since nexus turrets became lazer turrets. It's not only been heard in LCS games but talked about by casters in LCS games. It's still happening... It's not just an annoying sound, it lowers fps. Not by enough for people with newer PCs to care, but for others it can easily swing game deciding fights.
