Fizz E unusable for some time

I was playing a fizz toplane against a teemo, and teemo all inned me (gunblade-blind-autos) and my E got locked and unusable, I've tried recconecting but it didn't help. Afterwards, a teamfight broke out and he used the same combo, and my E was usable again. I tried to take a screen shot with prntscreen but it's black :/
