@Riot, Bug crashed placement ranked game, league won't restart.

Description: Just downloaded new patch at 12:50 on Wednesday, the 7th of December 2016. Started a ranked solo/duo queue game with a friend. First placement of the new season. Champion select goes fine until the game starts, where the league client doesn't launch the actual game and just stays where it is with the "reconnect" button. Note I was using the beta client. Teammates remade (which is fine), and I got a loss for a placement match. I would like to solve this issue and also would like my loss forgiven as it was not my fault. I have never tampered with the files or anything like that.
