lost all connection to the servers

playing a few games and out of nowhere, my game crashes so i just exit my game to relaunch. shows me that i've been completely been disconnected from the server. open a browser and im find with my internet. close LoL then i sit at the log in screen for 5+ mins. get in, and cant connect to chat. (the last two i know are already showed up). The match did not show up on the history. Im thinking this patch was a little too large for the time it took to implement. i think a 25-36 hour long downtime would have been better
