Sup with the black screen after champion select on mac? Why does Riot not say anything on it besides

This has been an ongoing off and on problem for months, which after HOURS upon HOURS of research and troubleshooting I have verified is a problem within riot. And has been happening for 2 days now. I havnt heard a single comment from Riot on to whats going on with this, why it exists, or what they are doing to fix it. All I ever hear is "please submit a ticket here with this and this and this (a network log, blah blah blah), so we can try to fix your network connection, oh, and heres a link to our troubleshooting which you've already stated you've tried multipile times and have verified its not a problem with your internet."
