Rammus q interactions with Talisman of Ascension

I don't know if this is supposed to happen, but when you pop Talisman's active during Rammus' q, it ends up canceling the q. This never used to be the case until maybe this last patch or the previous one. Is this supposed to happen? Other move speed actives like ghostblade and righteous glory still work fine with rammus q. any feedback would be appreciated.
