Xerath bug maybe? Or i could just be bad.

Hello I just got finished playing a ranked game against a xerath and i think there may be a possible issue with his skill shots. A few times I was completely out of range of his q (animation even stopped) and half a sec later I was stunned. this also happened with his charged up skill shot this only occurred long wise not when dodging left or right. There was no lag and I was only at 61 ping I believe the entire game.
