Mac client barely functional after update

Friend on PC is having similar issues.

Can't join dynamic queue unless solo (have to can't speak in champ select can't hover champion in champ select game starts immediately after last person picks booted from post-game chat immediately Can't view profile can't change summoner icon connection timeout errors like every 7 seconds accepting queue pop counts as you selecting no and it gets stuck on your screen queues not even popping half the time...

legitimately unplayable.
