Unable to remake even though person was afk from the start and never connected

There seems to be a bug where the game would not allow you to remake if there is an item in the inventory slot of an afk person. It didn't tell us that he disconnected till around 1:30 mark but it should still counted toward an afk if he wasn't "disconnected" The only thing in his inventory was stopwatch from runes. Please fix this.
