Champ select bug

So i was just in a ranked match lobby, i chose who to ban and then the next person it just froze for, me and my team kept talking and they didn't understand that nothing was moving forward for me, and then within 2 seconds every single ban and player lockin went through and i had 5 seconds left to pick my champ, i got a penalty for dodging and am still waiting for it to end. Has anyone else had something similar? i've been having a few issues with the lobbies lately.
