League is freezing my entire computer, please help?

I haven't played league in about 2 or 3 days for various reasons, and when I went to start it again my username was all in the box (I have remember username checked). Then, I went to login. Instead of it logging in all the way it freezes at loading everything.

My mouse freezes, my browser freezes, LoL freezes, and it just completely screws my entire computer. So, I had to hard boot my laptop.

I went to log in thinking it was just some computer glitch. However, the same thing happened. The only difference is that my username was unchecked and the box was unmarked. So, thinking this is nothing as it has happened before with no problems when patches come into play. However, AGAIN it froze my computer. So, what's going on?

Anyone know?

Probably a hacker virus

When I had this issue, it was my antivirus interacting with league in a bad way. Basically, set your firewall to let League through.

I'm actually having the same issue right now. Everything was working fine for the past year since i started playing league until this morning. I started up client, and logged in and then alt-tabbed to a youtube video and then my entire computer froze; music, mouse, and all other stuff. I had to force shutdown and restart. I found on another forum that it could be related to steam and so I've uninstalled that so far but it still doesn't seem to be fixing it. Im running MBAM now to see if I've got a virus. Let me know if there is a permanent fix.

This is happening to me also, started a few days ago. I've completely uninstalled and re installed after rebooting several times. Its not my computer, I can run other games just fine on my ASUS gaming laptop, and everything is up to date.

And, its not even part of gameplay, so it has nothing to do with my pc's specs, its as soon as I enter my PW and hit login
