Client showing wrong champion being played

Okay so, one of my friends was playing a game as Fiora but, according to my friends list, he was playing Malphite. Not sure if this is because it was a draft and the enemy chose Malphite while he had pre-selected Malphite or not, but it's still a confusing, albeit funny, bug.

As you can see, my friends list says he's playing Malphite but in game Malphite is on the enemy team while he's playing Fiora. And, for those who'd think I'm trying to be funny, I have the time in the lower right-hand corner. The one for my friends list was taking at 1:38 AM while the in game was taking at 1:39 AM, a minute difference on the same day.
