Zyra plants attacking me when she hasn't damaged me [GAMEPLAY]

Alright so in patch 6.13 Zyra's plant AI was fixed so they didn't target champions if Zyra hadn't damaged them, right? correct me if I'm wrong. Now in my game today, against a Zyra mid, I had dodged her q by walking away, and took no damage until the plant attacked me, and i had to walk away out of the plants auto attack range to lose agro. Later it happened again and i had to kill the plant, which put me in a bad spot to get rooted, overall I'm pretty sure this is a bug, please please please comment below and correct me if I misunderstood anything, because Zyra plants attacking me when they shouldn't is definately annoying. Now if you want to reproduce this bug, Have a zyra q next to you, not hitting you, but with plants next to you in range to attack, when Zyra q's the plants and you take no damage, the plants SHOULDN'T attack you, right? but they do.

I think this is how it works:

If you are the only unit near her plants (ie you have no friendly minions), the plant will target you automatically - because you're the only possible target. As far as I know the bug worked like this example:

Zyra Q's her seeds in the middle of an enemy minion wave bot, the plants would sometimes automatically attack an enemy champion without her damaging them, when really they should've just gone for the closest minion.
