Elise's Volatile Spiderling just... disappeared?

There I was, standing in my Human Form at the Red Bramblebacks -- I'd just cast Neurotoxin on the big guy, then hit W to cast Volatile Spiderling, followed by R to switch into Spider Form. The spiderling came out, but as soon as I became a spider, it just sorta disappeared. No damage numbers popped up on the Bramblebacks, and I never saw it explode.

It's bad enough that Elise has been weak for months and the "buffs" that she was supposed to get in 5.12 were lies... but her spells not even working is just plain bullshit. Riot, care to fix this, even if you don't fix her?
