Champion selection/ban selection timer freezing

Two times in a row now, during champion selection or ban selection, the countdown timer froze at zero and I was unable to lock in any picks then I was given a penalty for dodging a game. First in ranked then in draft pick. I was able to type in the chat and I have no lag issues in game but for some reason the lobby is having issues. This happened two times in a row and now I have a 15min dodge penalty.

During the loading screen for accepting a match, the timer didn't even tick down all the way and I wasn't even able to click accept. It simply declined itself and then told me that I declined the match. I didn't even get a chance to click on accept, that is how fast it declined for me. I assume the timer was actually there but for some reason I could not see it, but when it finally appeared for me, the timer ran out and would not allow me to accept because the timer was actually already expired.

I never dodge games on purpose, this is the only reason why I even have a penalty to begin with. May I ask for this penalty to get removed from my profile please?
