champ select disconnect while connected

I was in champ select and I had the not connected icon in my box, but I could see the countdown, and could see other people chatting and I could chat, but I saw no champions. I tried to type names of champions but nothing came up. after the banning phase, all the champions came up and it said I was reconnected, but when I tried to pick a champion, I would click and nothing would happen.
