"Skip Waiting for Stats"

This bug has been in the game for, at least, a month now. Sometimes when connecting to the game, I get a message that says that I was unable to connect, and that I should retry. However, when I click retry, the same message appears. Normally, when this happens, you close the tab, and the client opens with the "Reconnect" option. Now, instead, the client opens and gives me a prompt to "Skip Waiting for Stats". It no longer believes I am in a game apparently. Not only that, but I can form a new party, and attempt to start a new game. Is this Gamebreaking Bug ever going to be fixed?
