A Bug That Has Been Around For 6 Years

Since the beginning of time immemorial, there has been a bug in league that is more frustrating that a Fiora feeding in lane. Somehow, this bug has "Slipped under the radar" of Riot's Bug fixing team, so I figured, as I am currently experiencing this bug, I should bring it to their attention again. Currently, after an instant crash upon entering the game, I am left unable to reconnect due to the client instantly crashing. However, it's NOT because of my internet, because I'm in a Skype call that is perfectly fine, and it NOT my firewall as I have disabled. I feel as though it is time that Riot either, A: Addresses this problem. or B: Fixes it.
