Black screen, Looping audio fx [CRASH]

I was about 25 minutes into a normal draft game on SR, and I called for /ff, which wasn't answered by enough teammates to close. So I continued trying to defend base and died (~30s after typing /ff; when it would normally close itself), and right about then the screen went black. Audio continued to play so I thought I had connection and just a video issue. I tried to alt-tab but that did nothing. Then I ctrl+alt+del, which after a long delay brought up that menu, but trying to open task manager from there just returned me to black screen. By this time, I'd heard dragon die 3 or 4 times in the span of a couple minutes so what sounded like fighting was just a loop of the audio generated around the time of the crash. Since ctrl+alt+del failed I had to power off. The game was already ending but there's a good chance they report me for leaving x_x.

I'll only know if this is replicable after playing again; this was my first game since today's update (back on old draft system). No screenshot or bugsplat for the reasons mentioned; if it happens again I'll try to record the audio looping.

On Windows 7 64-bit. LoL 0.34.0.18 Patch 6.1

My search of recent crash reports included black screen issues but they were during or right after queue.

OP here.

Crash repeated similarly in bot game just now: Audio continued but screen cut to full black, then black with movable gauntlet cursor, then stayed full black. CTRL+ALT+DEL did nothing so I powered off after about a minute.

Had 12 tabs total open in Chrome, including one streaming: Soundcloud. I think I was streaming the other time as well. I'll play without that for a while and consider it the cause unless another crash occurs. I'd been experiencing lag spikes between tracks sometimes anyways. Also possibly related: I'd defragged my HDD yesterday, then hibernated before playing. Also, when PC restarted the Java updater popped up, and don't recall it being around before the crash.

Not sure if any of this would explain LoL crashing... If anyone else encounters this type of crash, please reply so I know it's not just my PC dying. League of Legends 6.1.16_01_20_13_46 [new queues again, so that's not directly the cause]
