Please look into the new FPS drops issue

Well, it's not a new problem for me, I've had FPS drops and stuttering for quite some time, but this patch made everything unbearable. Every patch the game goes worse and worse, the client is laggy as fuck and in-game performance goes downhill the more patches get released. Right now I can only play decently for 5-10 minutes, then FPS start dropping over time and my screen stutters for 0.5/1s quite often. It's annoying and unplayable.

My specs: AMD Quad-Core A10-9600P (2,4 GHz), AMD R5 integrated card, AMD R7 M340 discrete GPU (2GB), 16GB RAM.

The same thing is happening to me, it keeps dropping for longer and longer intervals the more the game goes on.

Was thinking it's my PC but good to see others experiencing it. I just recently upgraded to a GTX 1080 and I have an i5-8600k so there should be no issues with League but its so stuttery and consistently drops fps. On top of that I get a 1 FPS freeze on the beginning of every game

Same here. Soon as the new patch dropped, I start a game out fine, but then after about 4-7 mins my fps slowly start dropping randomly. First to around 70, then 40, and starting around 10 minutes, I go down to 1 fps freezes like Lowgdog mentioned above. Not to mention that as the game goes on, it just gets laggier and laggier more often. Those fps freezes usually end up happening every 10 seconds, and they last longer each time. Oddly enough though, after a game restart, my fps never drop again. It's gotten to the point that as soon as I load in, I have to quit and restart just so I won't have to deal with the fps drops in the middle of a fight or gank.

So far, I've tried updating my drivers, repairing league, and reinstalling it, but nothing's really changed.

Specs: Intel i5- 8400 GTX 1070 TI 16 GB RAM

Every few patches for me. I've been told to uninstall in the past from a CS rep since there was no fix we could find. The next patch it worked again. I don't know whats worse, the balance or this every few patches.

Mine drops to 1 FPS at the start of the game, at around 30 seconds, then sits at around the normal 200 the rest of the time lmao

New issue? This has been happening for years. Reformatting your hard drive, reinstalling OS, and reinstalling LoL should help (did for me a few years ago). I'm due for it again, but it's such a huge hassle I kind of don't want to right now.

I don't log on the league forums but when I do it's unplayable. :D

It's definitely something wrong with LOL after patches. I can play DOTA with no problem. But LOL I can log in normal. As soon as I start a game it drops to 0 fps.

IMPORTANT: For MSI computers DELETE "NAHIMIC" processes. IT WORKED FOR ME!!!!

SpyKayle8/5/2018, 6:26:45 AM2 votes

Same happens to me. I used to play at 200 fps, now its 100 or lower and my computer is fine. I even went on low spec mode, client goes off during games too and it STILL is bad. If not worse even. I get stutters and skips at 100 fps or 80. It gets worse as the game goes on

I have the same issue, and like the OP, the first time I experienced it was around 8.xx, and after a patch it was resolved. I have experienced this issue again during EVERY game of League that I play, only while playing League since the Akali patch. I've watched it and it always starts around 7-8 minutes into the game. After the issue starts, it repeats roughly every 15 - 20 seconds. The issue is a total freeze of the screen for approximately 1.5 seconds, and any inputs prior to the freeze appear to carried out. I.e. if I clicked to a movement spot, and then the screen freezes, after the duration of the freeze my character is at the location clicked.

I don't have an MSI computer and I don't have a process named anything like "NAHIMIC".

i7-3770k, 1080 gtx ti, 16 gb of ram, all SSD storage. No issues with any other game, I play DCS at max values with Occulus Rift which is far more taxing on my PC than League.

About to update my Nvidia driver to see if this resolves it: Currently @ Nvidia Driver Version 388.59 12/07/17

Installing Nvidia Driver Version 398.82 8/01/2018.

Ok, after installing the newer driver there's no difference. I still have the same issue, but this time I REALLY paid attention to the screen freezes. Starts EXACTLY 7:01 mins into the game, and on the dot, every 30 secs the issue happens. So, 7:31, 8:01, 9:31, 10:01, 10:31, etc. My initial observations I didn't pay attention as closely and estimated it to be every 15-20 seconds.

Going to bed for the night, but if you believe it's a process issue then it shouldn't be hard to capture with a process capture. I'll look at that tomorrow.

Exact same issue! Exact same APU as you, there is an issue with the r series of graphics and league of legends for some reason. It is a complete software compatibility issue!!
