Can't flash through azir ult?

I noticed in a game that when i try to flash through azirs ult it still knocks me back. I actually tested this on a custom game and every time azir ult would knock me back from flashing no matter what position i am in. I'm pretty sure this is not intended but if it is then why.........

Azir's ult is impenetrable, so you cannot flash through it once it's already set down. You can flash to dodge the ult when Azir's casting it, however.
