Quin Auto Target Bug

Jeremiah H··1 votes·669 views

This actually happened twice this game, but it was harder to find the second instance in the replay. As near as I can tell, the sequence is this: I, as Quinn, right click onto someone while I am far away and in bird form. What this should do, and has before in multiple games, is let me auto attack someone as soon as I get close enough. (this gets you a little more dps as you auto from bird, e, auto, then q auto if necessary).

Anyway, I right click on a champ while far away. I run up to them. When I am close, I ignite. Once I do that, my champion 'forgets' who it targeted previously, and then stands awkwardly in place for a moment. The replay shows that I auto a minion instead before "e-ing" off Kassadin. At no point did I right-click to auto something else.

Again, this happened twice. The first time I thought I just did something wrong but the second time confirmed this was a bug. I will post that replay if I can isolate it.

I can't tell for sure just by the spectator's point-of-view, but I assume one possibility (for this video) is that ignite was used outside of Quinn's range, which cancel the command for Quinn's auto-attack. So, if I'm correct, it's not a bug, and you should've kept right-clicking Kassadin after ignite...or auto-attack Kassadin first and then igniting him.

Ignite does not cancel auto targets. Thats why this is odd

EDIT: I am wrong it seems

Okay, it appears TryMucinex is correct. I could have sworn Ignite did not work this way before
