[Support, Ask the Community] League has become the only game in my library to lag

My ping spikes from 80 to 400 every time an enemy comes out of shadows and I genuinely don't understand why. Battlefield, with 64 person Lobby size has near perfect connection compared to League of Legends FPS holds steady at 120 Internet speed holds at: 3mbps download 5.75 mbps Upload and a 14ms Latency I've tried everything from setting the internal clock to turning off wifi auto-connect. Help?

Sorry I can't find the tag. Also context: before a couple patches ago, my connection was perfect, recently I've had to continually reinstall due to freezing in the loading screen which won't go way. Maybe a connected problem?

I've had the same issue. I've run diagnostics, rerun my cleaning software to make sure nothing was sitting in my memory eating up space randomly, closed all programs, and STILL have random times my ping will spike out of control and I've run checks when this happens. Tab out, run a test, tab in to make sure the ping is still too high in the game so I know the test is actually checking the ping spike I'm trying to measure and I find it's ONLY league. League is the actual problem, it's not my computer, it's not my husbands. I also had a few friends saying that this season has been TERRIBLE about massive random ping spikes happening in only league.

These are people who I have run other games with and I mean high end graphic games such FF14, Aion, Tera, Icarus, Black Desert, etc. None of us have these problems here. Each of us tend to play with a range of 10-22 and on league I'll spike as high as 500 at times out of no where. Only game with this issue I've encountered this problem with as of late ( except if a game is undergoing a DDoS attack ). The only times I have issues on those games is if I MYSELF am causing an issue because I'm dling another game at the same time and even then that hasn't actually happened. I have to be running a bunch of programs, dling, and streaming to cause myself to encounter this issue with another company's game.
