Thresh Lantern vs Warwick Ult

So this has happened in multiple games now. I ult enemy adc, thresh drops lantern on them, they lantern OUT of my ult, warwick continues mauling the air until ult ends..

Only thing in the game that can cancel my ult to my knowledge :/ Not sure if they still take the damage or not, but thresh's shield can usually eat that. I'm trying to lock them in place..
