Client Re-patches After Attempting to Load into Game

I'm out of ideas. I don't get why this new client is so buggy. When I enter a game, I seem to have a 1/10 chance to have to repair the game because "something went wrong. We need to scan your files." I've re-installed, used the hextech repair tool, scoured the boards for other issues like this, and found nothing. Anyone have any ideas?
