Fail patch and ARAM switching champs bug

So I try getting online today and the client won't even launch. It showed the LoL icon when you first open it but the actual program wouldn't launch. I tried multiple times before I just decided to reinstall the entire game. I go into a ARAM champion select and for the entire first part of it swapping characters was not a option. It wasn't that I didn't have the champions to swap the swap arrows just weren't even there until 2 seconds left. Not one but 2 champs are disabled on the release of this patch. You dropped the ball today Riot big time.
