unranked accs getting wrong placement

I dont see this is server status and riot support on twitter suggest i made a ticket but ticket times are like 4days around this time so wanted to report the bug here in hopes of a rioter seeing it and linking it/ forwarding this issue to the appropriate team working on these issues.

new fresh accounts seem to have same bug that happened with flex q/dynamic q that you can have full plat games and gold/plat mmr and be 8/2 or w/e in placement and you still get placed in iron 2 . [sg-ahri-2]

pls help me make riot notice this so it can be fixed as well.

Can confirm that I was Gold 5 about 5 years ago when I stopped playing and all my games are with Gold players, but ranked decided to place me in Iron 4 with a 50% win ratio. RIP ranked placements.

All accounts that were unranked will start in Iron, so this not a bug. (https://nexus.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/2018/10/ask-riot-ranked-edition/)

and there is no way they would keep ppl plat/diamond mmr and place them in iron XD

I think you need to switch to the EUW version of the site.

Also, the problem is that they place everyone who was unranked in Iron. So if you were diamond season 7 and you didnt play ranked season 8 you still get Iron. I agree that is very dumb
