Unable to open Premium Chest

So I just re-installed League after a long hiatus. I was greeted with the Hextech crafting system and a free Premium chest to open. (I have a key available)

But no matter how many time I try, I am unable to open the chest.

It says:

**Crafting Failed

It appears the Hextech unit has a bad motivator. Try restarting your client. If this message continues please try again later; there may be issues with the service**.

I have restarted the client a few times with no luck, it won't open.

I received a normal chest after a few games, and that one opened just fine.

I got a new key and tried again, still no luck.
