Unable to Lock in Champion in Ranked Queue

So I got blocked for 5 minutes for being unable to "Lock in" my champion during Champion Selection for a ranked match. I didn't lose any LP from the looks of it but that was very irritating to deal with. I hope you can look into issues regarding that because that could have and probably has affected my future performances and LP. I am wondering if anyone is experiencing this problem too and to see if I'm not the only one. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Same thing for me...IF the game even bothers to tell me a game has popped, most of the time it just tells me I didn't accept the queue even though nothing popped up to accept...and IF it lets me into a game as soon as I try to select a hero I get DCed until the countdown ends and I get a leave penalty...complete and udder BS.
