Thresh and Relic Shield
Relic Shield allows the user to execute minions below 200 health if charged. However, Relic Shield does not work on Thresh as it does with other melee support champions.

Thresh's auto attacks are considered ranged, sorry mate D;

It works if he is melee range, but being thresh when is that ever going to happen? Its less tedious to just pick up the coin and take gold masteries.
