One for aa and one for deadman plate (even though I dont like how 0 stack deadman gives one proc) seems alright kinda like how lucian passive gives two aa hits for PTA.
Not to say that morde doesn't need nerfs but this interaction aint problematic. Kinda wish riot would touch the damage instead of reducing his passive movement speed and slightly reducing it duration, like wtf does lower movespeed do if your a melee champ.
