Shaco Q Blink buffer Bug?
Not sure if this is a bug or just how the coding works, but essentially if you Q blink with
right as a effect shot hits you, like
's stun, you will blink and become invisible as usual, but be stunned while being your blink distance away.
NOTE: This takes extremely perfect timing and has only happened to me a couple of times.
I think this my have to do something with buffering? I dont know exactly, but it seems that the command for the Q for
is being inputed before applied affects from enemy shots. This has happened to me personally with
's stun (root) where i will be shot by her stun, but blink just as it hits me, so that i am stunned and invisible while blinked away a distance. This has also happened to me with
's condemn, where i will blink just as the condemn seems to hit me, causing me to blink, then be hit back, all while im invisible and maintaining that invisibility. Although these events are coincidences, I guess they could be abused to get away from a shot, since the enemy will most likely think the missed since the effect was applied while you are invisible. I assume this can also affect grabs and hooks, though i have not tried this, where a
for example will grab you just as you blink, causing you to be grabbed and pulled invisibly, even though you had blinked a distance away.
I don't know how long this has been a thing, as i just got around to realizing this might actually be unintended and be a bug. I've been experiencing this since i started getting good at
, so the "bug" has at least been around for about 4 months.
If this isn't a bug, can someone please explain to me how this is interpreted by the system and why the effects are being applied after the blink. -Thanks
