This is obnoxious it punishes the team with better vision for no reason.

It can be heard if you are near any member of the enemy team I think. Gaining the buff has a graphic and a sound, but I don't think you hear it if you don't have vision of anyone on their team.

I have heard it when all 5 enemies were taking it in fog of war, the sound is either global like with nocturne or applies on minions

You can only hear it if you have vision of an enemy teammate as they receive the buff. Even if you didn't hear it you can see them get the buff. Not really a big deal.

actually I've heard it with no vision of enemies at all

This you can hear it with no vision. I am also of the mind set that they should remove the graphic.

Is there any reason to this mindset? Tab tells you that dragon spawns every six minutes. This information is at every player's fingertips. No one has an advantage or disadvantage with these visual/audio queues.

Even if they remove them you can click an enemy to see they got the buff and make a pretty safe guess as to the spawn time anyway. Hell if you have someone targeted as they get the buff you will know the exact spawn time. This is not an issue.

You can already see the symbol for when it is taken anyway just by pressing tab. Not like it really matters honestly.

The icon only updates once you get vision. You can hear exactly when it is taken with no vision.

Who cares if you can see the icon anyway? Really, you just press tab or notice after ANY of the five people on the opponent team.

This behaves unlike every other buff in the game. Yes you can tell when someone has gotten baron by the buff however the other team still has the exact timing you don't which I think is good.

Just like baron, unless they all stay off the map for a good 30 seconds, you can guess out the times anyway give or take, I'm indifferent personally, I don't think it matters honestly.
