Constantly losing connection to client

Not sure why this is happening but it probably started a couple patches ago where my client cannot get connection to the servers once im logged in. It will constantly pop up with "lost connection...exit client". If I wait abit it goes away however nothing loads on my client and I can barely click play (i click it and nothing happens) I got lucky today cause it actually let me play a game after pressing play. Any reason why this could be happening? It only happens with league for me and once I am in game I am fine. Its even done it before where I was in game and the client on the desktop (i keep it open) asked to close itself because it lost connection.

Also just a minor point. Sometimes when I open league my entire computer freezes and i have to hard shut it down. This also started a couple patches ago too. What happened?
