[CLIENT] Setting up a custom game takes forever

When you click "create", it hangs at "receiving data from server". The only way you can get past is to wait for the button "cancel" to show up. Once it does, and you click it, you can set up a custom game like normal. Happens every time.

Runnin on a Windows 7 x64 laptop.
