Lp Clamp? Why?

So I am in gold 5 and I tend to win 50% of my games, sometimes less and sometimes more depending on the day. Overall I think I am slightly negative right now. The reason I am posting this though is because when I win a game I get between 12-14 lp and when I lose I am losing 20 lp. Not really sure if report a bug is where this is supposed to go but it is very upsetting when you win 2 games and then lose one and you only make 4 lp. I used to be winning 50% and I would be making about 20 lp per win and then losing 17 or 18 so winning 2 and losing one would put me at 22 which is gaining alot more then only 4 lp. Im just putting this here because im not sure if you were aware of how much clamping there is right now or if it is meant to happen. But it makes it really hard to gain any ranking because you have to be winning around 75% of your games to get anywhere, and even winning 3 and losing one you are still only going to gain 16 lp after 4 games which isnt alot but you would be getting somewhere.
