I facing opponents out of my skill level in normal games.

I dont know if this a bug, but i took a 2 month break this summer from league maybe a little longer. After returning ALL my normal games are plague with diamond and sometimes even master players. I dont understand what is going on, my peak this year has been gold 2 and EVERY SINGLE GAME I get roasted for making "low elo plays". It is very discouraging when i make single mistake and some diamond player is like wow man you just fucked my lane then afks and proceeds to tell me low elo trash from base, IN NORMALS. Was there MMR reset or something why am i getting placed with these people.
