Warwick Ult does not proc Guinsoo

Warwick ult is supposed to proc on hit effect 5 times. However, I found out recently that at if I use ult to someone at 8 full stacks, the tick does not refresh, therefore after few seconds the guinsoo's effect is gone if I don't attack something quickly. This probably means that Warwick's ult does not proc Guinsoo at all from 0 stacks (haven't tried but logically makes sense).

Fix this please! Thanks :)

That's not a bug. Guinsoo gains stacks on-attack, not on-hit. You only gain stacks auto attacking (just like phantom hits from Devourer don't grant extra stacks)

I don't understand what you're saying. On-attack IS on-hit. That's why warwick ult procs Devourer, which makes his ult proc on hit effect 7 times instead of 5 times. And when Warwick has devourer, it DOES stack guinsoo. When Warwick's attacks the target when it has 6 stacks, first Warwick's hit reaches 8 stacks, and then the following phantom hit triggers guinsoo AoE effect. Go make a custom game and you can see yourself. Which is exactly why Warwick ult not stacking Guinsoo is a bug.

No, on attack and on hit is not the same. On hit means that it triggers on the target when it is hit by a basic attack. On attack means that the effect triggers when the auto attack is made.

An ability that procs on-hit effects does not proc on-attack effects; you're not auto attacking, you're just transferring the effects of your auto attacks to an ability (like Warwick's ult. It doesn't say it counts as basic attacks, it just says it applies on-hit effects)

I know it sounds like it's the same but it's not. Guinsoo only gains stacks when you throw out basic attacks, not when you apply on-hit effects, since it's not an on-hit effect itself.

To be honest that would be a really stupid thing to do, It is because a bloodrazor + a BOTRK = 10% life taken from the enemy each hit, If this is stacked with a ww ult it's 50% before you get off of the target, If you stack that with a Guinsoos that's basically 100% health damage. Correct me if i'm wrong.
