[CLIENT] the client home page is all black

so I go to start a game with my brother and our friend, and something pops up telling me that there is a problem in my files and the client will need to re-patch it. after the client fixed it in the standard update style, I go to log in. I log in, it pops up a new screen like normal, and it's completely black. I try again and it's still black. I try again and now it won't let me even pull up the log in screen. after about 5 times of trying and it going back and forth between not popping up with anything and letting me log in to watch Helen Keller: The Experience, I came here. please don't punish me for this as it was a problem with league, not my computer or anything I did, and please do fix this asap.
