Poppy E/dive not working properly

I played a draft pick summoner's rift a few hours ago (forgot to report this).

I played as poppy with a noxus skin.

Her e is supposed to do a dive. Instead, I was getting her to do a knockback similar to that of Alistair's ability. The enemy Riven in my lane was very confused too.

As a poppy, I don't want to be throwing people away from me. It almost cost my team the game.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
