Monsters Resetting Themselves Even Though You Are Still Damaging Them?

This happened to me a couple times when I played Bard Jungle, and when I was taking blue, I tried to kite/leash it to avoid taking damage, but then it started walking back and reset itself, gaining health, WHILE I was still auto-ing it…

What? And then after it gained like 500-600 health and was at its original position, it then remembered that I was attacking it, then resumed the battle.

Anyone else getting the resetting problem? Or am I the only one with these jungle problems?

i don't jungle very often, but im pretty sure it has to do with the distance that the monster is from the camp.

Yes, there is a maximum distance after which it will hard reset. Otherwise you could leash a monster all the way to your tower by kiting it.

They changed to amount of times that a camp can change aggro before resetting to avoid kiting the camps without taking damage. If they change aggro 5 times then they will hard reset.

Edit: I think the change was a little bit after the preseason.

There is a hard leash rate where if you reset the camp more then 5 times they will do a hard reset regardless now. This was put in at the beginning of this season because too many people where using the reset mechanic to not take any damage from camps.
